Beer Fest 2019

Belgrade Beer Fest, the biggest music event in Serbia’s capital, has again produced a very good line-up. It consists of a proven mix of old school rock, popular younger bands, and alternative bands known for their good performances and dedicated fans, with the addition of a few well knows world stars. Those mentioned last are the ones helping to raise the standing of Belgrade Beer Fest even further, and this year the foreign guests are led by a rock legend, The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.

Festival starts on Aug. 14th and finishes on Aug. 18th. Like all big music festivals, Beer Fest keeps several stages running at the same time. Four stages planned this year are: Main Stage, Alternative Stage, Groove Stage and Bunt Stage. Even without physical barriers between stages, it is actually possible to perform music at the same time, as smaller stages are on the opposite side of the field. So, for fans on smaller stages, there is no interference with sounds from the main stage.

All you can drink in VIP zone

One of interesting innovations this year is the expansion of VIP zone. While there is no entrance fee for the festival, visitors will have an option of buying a ticket for this zone, where they will be less crowded and close to the Main stage, while enjoying unlimited amounts of beer. Speaking about beer, visitors will also have the opportunity to try some labels not usually sold in Serbia, like American and Japanese beer. Many beer classics will also be there, such as Belgian Delirium, Dutch Gulden Draak i BrewDog from Scotland.

Beer Fest Line-up

Beer Fest 2019 will be a record-breaking one, as more than 120 bands and performers will play in five days. Our recommendation is the first concert on the first day – a rock opera with more than 100 musicians, playing famous rock songs. Sky apartments are ready to receive visitors of Beer Fest, but we advise you to book in advance, as August is most popular month for foreign tourists in Belgrade.
