New Year’s concerts
Following a well-tried recipe, two successive concert nights in front of the parliament building will bring different music syles and lots of fun. Young singers, mostly rappers, will perform nn December 30th. Line-up consists of Vuk Mob, Angelina, Gazda Paja, Sara Jo, Mili, Senidah, Cobi, Rasta and MC Stojan. The program starts at 9PM, ends at 2AM, and begins again on December 31st, at 9PM. Square of the open heart
Very rich programme will play out on Republic Square, in the very center of Belgrade. The square was recently renovated, and it was even considered for main New Year’s concerts, but it was decided against it, as the square is not spacious enough. It will be the central place for children’s events, with several hours of programme each day and almost the whole day on weekends. Plays, song and dance performances, educational movies, workshops, animation and other events are planned, while the Republic Square will be known as Square of the open heart.
Fairy tale square
Space in front of Zvezdara municipality is a very attractive location for various kid’s events. This year, it will be transformed into a Fairy tale square, with complete programme consisting of stage productions of fairy tales, reading of fairy tales and workshops inspired by these stories. This programme is adapted for slightly younger kids than events on Republic Square.
