40. Belgrade Tourism Fair

Belgrade Tourism Fair is different that any other event on Belgrade Fair, as it is the only time visitors come in large numbers not to see and buy physical exhibits, but to get information and deals, and as visitors of Belgrade Tourism Fair know, the right information has more value than most ordinary goods. The right deal can land you a big saving for the summer vacation, with discount ranging from 10 to 30 percent, compared to prices usually paid a few months before summer season.

Many destinations will be sold out before summer

This year’s Belgrade Tourism Fair will start on February 22nd and will last until February 25th. The Fair is celebrating it’s 40. birthday this year, so it is expected that the offers will be even more numerous and better than usually, especially when it comes to more exotic destinations, which are being more and more promoted in Serbia. One other type of vacation for which deals will be great are very early summer vacations (they are in late spring, really), as it was established during last few exhibitions that those who book the early holiday in Greece can get the whole package while paying only for the transport. Also, prices for other dates are considerably lower when booked in February, at least 20 % lower than standard prices, onto which the special fair discount is also added.

It is worth noting that the decrease in interest for Turkey and countries of North Africa made the rest of destinations more attractive. Belgrade Tourism Fair so became the best place to book the desired destination, as most of the will be sold out before June, and the best place will be sold out much earlier. On the other hand, for those who are not deterred by security issues in Turkey and North Africa, the fair is a great opportunity to get the desired holiday at even better price.

Record number of visitors

The growing importance and relevance of Belgrade Tourism Fair is highlighted by number of exhibitors and visitors. During the last few years, the visitors count regularly hits 70.000 and more, with between 1100 and 1200 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. The new record will be set this year, with more than 1200 exhibitors, and more exotic destinations are being introduced in recent years. While the fair takes place, two parallel manifestations are due to take place: Fair of Hotel and Restaurant Equipment – HORECA and The Wine Fair -BEOWINE.
