34. Belgrade Jazz Festival
Belgrade Jazz Festival had become the premium indoor music festival in Serbia in recent years. The festival will take place from October 25th to October 29th, under the moto “WITHOUT BORDERS”, emphasizing the variety of artists, styles and influences present in festival’s lineup. Belgrade Jazz Festival is attracting not only a relatively small audience of those who can be described as jazz fans, but also a wider audience of all those who love a good live acts of various types, especially as organizers tend to invite artist who can make attractive acts and are practicing popular forms of jazz or styles close to jazz.
Tickets for Belgrade Jazz Festival are not expensive – 3.600 RSD for all days, and world music stars are mostly coming to Belgrade because city of Belgrade is also sponsoring the event and there is a great support from embassies of countries from which some of the musicians come. Festival locations are Belgrade Youth Center, where Belgrade Jazz Festival originated, and also Kombank Art Hall nearby. Among the artist performing on 34. Belgrade Jazz Festival are Marc Ribot, Ben Wendel, Omer Avital, Chucho Valdes, Kurt Elling, Jenses sisters and many others. All programs in Belgrade Youth centrer start at 7PM in small hall and in 10.30PM in large hall, and i 7PM in Kombank Art Hall.
